Liminus

Liminus makes small-batch, natural perfumes featuring the finest Tasmanian botanicals. Each scent has a story to tell inspired by Tasmania’s beauty and biodiversity.

The range includes two signature scents, Alba and Thamnic and a seasonal limited release crafted as an ephemeral celebration of time and place. Liminus perfumes incorporate Tasmanian botanicals, including precious brown boronia absolute (Boronia megastigma), Huon Pine tincture (Lagarostrobus franklinii) and Tasmanian Pepperberry extract (Tasmannia lanceolata). Alba, was recently recognised as a finalist in the 2024 Clean and Conscious Awards. These awards recognise safe and socially responsible products available in Australia and New Zealand.

Hilary is a perfumer based in lutruwita/ Tasmania. She has a background in protected area policy, marine park management and environmental programs. Perfumery was the obvious next step.
