The result of an intriguing composition, "AMBRE FUMÉ" is a direct, sweet, warm and subtly woody fragrance in which the worlds of incense and spices meet.

Imagine yourself in an arid oriental land with not a single flower on the horizon, where a hot sandstorm is blowing, and then an unexpected caravan crosses the landscape, loaded with incense and sweet spices. Such a caravan shouldn't go unnoticed...

In this composition, I took up the challenge of deliberately omitting floral essences. Surprising as it may seem, "Ambre fumé" contains no floral notes whatsoever.

It opens with a pleasant surprise: notes of roasted chestnuts and almonds quickly introduce you to the honeyed, sweet side of this fragrance, with amber and incense adding even more warmth and subtlety.

 

To enhance the character of this fragrance, I've added clove and cardamom spices, which blend perfectly here and play a major role in this composition.

"Ambre fumé" is not lacking in originality: tonka bean accompanies the fragrance, giving it an almost unexpected vanilla-smoke and exotic touch.

It's an oriental fragrance underpinned by woody scents highlighted by Gaiac wood and Thai oud.

"Ambre fumé" is an "olfactory caravan", an original and intriguingly direct composition that, like incense, doesn't evolve much, but has an assertive character, an ardent fragrance with spicy woody notes that also accentuate its sensuality, a fragrance where the worlds of incense and spices meet and become one.
